Getting Started
How do I get started with toKindle?
Getting started is easy! First, download the toKindle Chrome extension, Firefox extension, or Android app. Then verify your email address, add toKindle@icloud.com
to your Amazon approved senders list, and enter your Kindle device email. You'll be ready to send articles in minutes!

Do I need to pay to use toKindle?
toKindle is completely free to use! You can send articles and files to your Kindle without any subscription or payment required.
Account & Setup
I didn't receive my verification email. What should I do?
Check your spam/junk folder first. The verification email is valid for 10 minutes. If you still don't see it, try requesting a new verification email after a few minutes.
Can I use toKindle on multiple devices?
Yes! You can install the Chrome extension and Firefox extension on multiple computers and the Android app on multiple devices using the same email account. You can also add multiple Kindle devices to your account.
How do I add toKindle to my Amazon approved senders list?
Go to your Amazon account settings, navigate to "Manage Your Content and Devices", then "Preferences", then "Personal Document Settings". Add toKindle@icloud.com
to your approved email list.

Kindle Connection
How do I find my Kindle device email?
Every Kindle has a unique email address. Go to Amazon's Send-to-Kindle page, find your device, and copy the email address (usually ends with @kindle.com
).
Why am I not receiving articles on my Kindle?
The most common reasons are:
toKindle@icloud.com
is not in your Amazon approved senders list- Your Kindle device email is incorrect
- Your Kindle is not connected to Wi-Fi
- The article is taking some time to process

Can I send articles to multiple Kindle devices?
Yes! You can add multiple Kindle devices to your account and choose which device to send content to each time.

What file types can I send to my Kindle?
toKindle supports web articles, PDFs, and other document formats. Web articles are automatically converted to a clean, readable format optimized for your Kindle device.

How long does it take for articles to appear on my Kindle?
Most articles appear on your Kindle within 1-2 minutes. Make sure your Kindle is connected to Wi-Fi to receive content.
Can I send articles from any website?
toKindle works with most websites and automatically extracts the main article content while removing ads and distractions for a better reading experience.

Browser Extension
How do I pin the toKindle extension for quick access?
After installing the Chrome or Firefox extension, pin the toKindle extension for one-click access to send articles. In Chrome, click the puzzle icon in your browser toolbar and pin the extension. In Firefox, right-click the toolbar and customize it to add the extension icon.
Can I send articles without opening the extension popup?
Yes! Right-click on any webpage and select "Send to Kindle" from the context menu for even faster sending.
I'm not seeing notifications when articles are sent. Why?
Check your browser notification settings and system notification preferences to ensure toKindle is allowed to show notifications.
Troubleshooting
The extension/app isn't working. What should I do?
Try these steps:
- Make sure you're logged in with a verified email
- Check that your Kindle device email is correct
- Verify
toKindle@icloud.com
is in your approved senders list - Ensure your Kindle is connected to Wi-Fi
- Try refreshing the page or restarting the app
I'm getting an error message. What does it mean?
Common error messages and solutions:
- "Email not verified": Check your email and click the verification link
- "Invalid Kindle email": Double-check your Kindle device email address
- "Unable to process": The webpage might not be compatible; try a different article
